Launch of "Acting with NGOs": a new proposal for action to adapt to global warming

Start

In the face of the climate emergency, NGOs are uniting in favour of a vast citizen movement for the planet. To do this, they are pooling their expertise in a new action group, hosted on the application WAG - We Act for Good, launched by WWF France: "Acting with NGOs". Its ambition? To call on all citizens to act with them by proposing concrete challenges to take action for the planet.

2020: year of action?

As shown by the many mobilizations that took place in 2019, French society is increasingly sensitive to the threats to our environment. Many people want to act, but do not know how to do so: there is an urgent need to propose concrete, high-impact, large-scale actions.

When NGOs unite...

This is why several recognized NGOs, including AVSF, CIWF, Heart of the Forest, Coral Guardian, Green Flight, GERES, L214, Liberté Mont-Valérien, Zero Waste France or WWF FranceThe European Commission and the Council of Europe are uniting their actions in a new group and inviting citizens to act with them.

This group is hosted by the mobile application WAG - We Act for GoodThe first of its kind in Europe, the Digital Society, created in 2018, which already brings together nearly 500,000 citizens in a programme of behavioural change and which, thanks to the power of digital technology, simplifies the transition to action and transforms the actions of each individual into collective action.
"Agir avec les ONG" (Acting with NGOs) is managed and animated by the association Webassocwhich brings together more than 1,500 fully volunteer web professionals.

... to (get) action at all levels

Through adapted challenges, the NGOs propose simple actions, accessible to all and with high impacts for the planet, in order to act in all aspects of daily life: how (and why) to limit the consumption of animal products? How to reduce energy consumption? How to protect forests and oceans? How to reduce plastic pollution? What is the circular economy?
Find all the solutions and actions proposed by the NGOs to protect our environment in this group, because safeguarding the environment will require the commitment of all: whether you are a citizen or an association, download the WAG application on your phone and join the group ".... Working with NGOs "to give your actions maximum impact.
