The "Covid-19 Challenge" is an international scheme aimed at supporting and financing technological partnerships between innovative companies for the development and rapid deployment of innovations in the face of the multiple challenges linked to the Covid-19 crisis. You have until 15 May 2020 to apply.
The program
This international call for projects is aimed at innovative companies wishing to adapt or develop an innovative solution that can limit or reduce the impact of the Covid-19 crisis. The programme is open to any theme (see the non-exhaustive list of themes in the "guidelines" document) but only concerns collaborative projects between companies from different countries.
The program targets short-term development projects (3 to 12 months), with a rapid launch and deployment of the solution.
To date, the following countries are members of this scheme: Canada, Spain, Denmark, Austria, Turkey, the Netherlands and France. Other countries will join the programme (regularly updated). If your partner is from another country that is not on this list, please contact us here.
Steps to apply :
Applications will be studied as soon as we receive your file. Interested companies have until 15 May to apply. The innovation agencies will get back to the candidates by June 30 at the latest.
In France, interested companies will have to follow the following steps:
1) Contact the Bpifrance team to verify your eligibility for financing and submit your financing request by indicating :
Surname/First name/contact details of the project manager
Company name of your company
SIREN
Name of your project
Name/Country of your partners

2. After discussion with the Bpifrance team, submit your project application, jointly filled in with your international partner, on the Eureka platform
In the absence of an application for funding, the file will not be studied by the innovation agencies. If you benefit from alternative funding or wish to self-finance your contribution to the project, please contact here
Eligibility Criteria :
In France :
A consortium composed of at least one French company (start-up, SME or ETI < 2,000 employees) and one company from another country
An innovation project targeting the development of products, services or processes that can meet the challenges of the Covid-19 crisis.
Concrete prospects for rapid development and deployment
Partner countries Please refer to the guidelines for the eligibility criteria for partner countries. Please note that some countries may also accompany and support the participation of R&D centres.
Financing :
Winners will be able to benefit from an accelerated process for obtaining the necessary funding to develop their project.
