Continuing their call for financial support for transitional businesses, ChangeNOW is launching the Lives Pitches online with Ashoka, Katapult Accelerator, Impact Founders and GIIN to bring together entrepreneurs for the planet and impact funders. The goal? To maintain a dynamic and qualified link between actors of the ecosystem in order to pursue and accelerate projects while the Covid crisis has put a stop to many activities.
ChangeNOW was created in 2017 with the mission to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable world by helping solutions go to scale. Each year it brings together the best of positive innovations from around the world at the ChangeNOW Summit to connect them with investors, corporations, talent, media, governments and citizens. The last edition, held at the end of January at the Grand Palais, the event organised 250 pitching sessions over 3 days for startups looking for 400 million euros.
The aim of these online Live Pitches is to organise a quality meeting between high-potential change makers, who are looking for concrete solutions and funds to scale up, and investors looking for qualified deal-flow, at a time when opportunities for meetings and networking have been reduced to zero. The role of ChangeNOW is therefore to pre-qualify, bring together and orchestrate these meetings, thanks to a fine reading and an increased knowledge of the ecosystem.
