Nicolas Hulot calls on the French to participate in the development of the new National Low Carbon Strategy. By the end of 2018, it will set a new and more ambitious emissions reduction path, in line with the commitments of the Paris Accord, to take into account our carbon neutrality objective by 2050. It will be based on very concrete measures linked to the Climate Plan. It is up to you to participate!
"I would like to listen to the expectations of the French people and gather their proposals to help us formulate the strategic orientations to be implemented in our country for the next five years, in all sectors of activity". says the Minister.
Transport, housing, food, consumption: how to adopt more carbon-efficient lifestyles?
The climate and energy transition requires everyone's contribution: each individual, through their daily actions, lifestyle and consumption choices, contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The public is therefore called upon to formulate by December 17, 2017 proposals via an online questionnaire, which will contribute to enrich the review of the low-carbon strategy.
A summary of the contributions will be published at the beginning of 2018 and will be given to elected representatives, professionals, trade unions, NGOs and experts in charge of drawing up the new strategy with the ministries, which is both ambitious and in line with the aspirations of the French people.
