Launched in November 2017 by the Minister of State, Minister of Ecological and Solidarity Transition, the "My Project for the Planet" scheme invites citizens to propose projects in the fields of energy, the circular economy and biodiversity. Internet users now have until 11 May 2018 to vote for their favourite project. The winning projects will then be funded by ADEME and AFB, for a maximum total amount of €3 million.
« Mon project for the planet" is a call for citizen initiatives, which aims to support concrete, exemplary and innovative actions to fight against climate change and to improve the daily living environment. This call has been a real success, with nearly 1,200 projects submitted throughout France, both in metropolitan France and in overseas France.
There are 419 eligible projects that are now submitted to the vote of Internet users:
- 205 projects related to biodiversity
- 123 projects on the theme of the circular economy
Three "Coup de coeur" juries met on April 9 to study the projects submitted and select "Coup de coeur" projects in each of the three categories
Voting is open until 11 May. The projects receiving the maximum number of votes will receive funding from ADEME or the French Biodiversity Agency. The maximum total amount devoted to "My Project for the Planet" is three million euros.
