As part of their respective policies to develop the circular economy, the Greater Paris Metropolis, the Institut National de l'Economie Circulaire (INEC) and the International Centre for Resources and Innovation for Sustainable Development (CIRIDD) are opening the collaborative platform for the circular economy of Greater Paris players "GrandParisCirculaire.org".
Ds soon as it was created, the Greater Paris Metropolis made the circular economy a priority axis of the territory's economic development with the aim of anticipating demographic growth, significantly and sustainably reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and the waste of resources to build a resilient metropolis.
This approach is in line with the measures advocated by the "circular economy" road map recently adopted by the Government in order to promote the transition from the current economic model to a circular economic model, which is the only one capable of being sustainable.
Among the actions undertaken by the Metropolis, the online launch of the metropolitan collaborative digital platform for the circular economy marks a new stage in the mobilisation of players in the field, with a view to creating a complete network of the metropolitan territory and highlighting the actions they are carrying out for dissemination.
A concrete action of the Greater Paris Metropolis in favour of the development of the circular economy, this tool is intended to be a resource centre, a knowledge and experience-sharing centre, a tool for raising public awareness and bringing together all the private and public players in the Greater Paris Metropolis.
The platform will thus provide access to local and national news on the themes of the circular economy, to a collection of documents, to decision-making tools and to the implementation of projects. It will be linked to the network of collaborative platforms of the circular economy (regional, national and international) which currently has more than 3,600 members and 500 feedback points - "Think global! Act local! ».
- Pre-registration of members (email registration)
- The referencing campaign of the good practices of circular economy of the territory (online form)
- Public consultation to gather the expectations of the territory's stakeholders (online form)
On 4 and 5 October 2018, the Métropole du Grand Paris is organising the 2nd edition of the "Grand Paris Circulaire", an event during which the partners will officially unveil this collaborative platform to the general public.
