Générations Futures publishes pesticide sales maps by department

Where do you buy the most pesticides? And which ones? The association Générations Futures - in partnership with Le Parisien - now presents a map of "phytos" which shows where endocrine disruptors and the most toxic substances are sold in France, by department and by category of pesticides.
 
OWhere do you buy the most pesticides? And which ones? These are questions that Future Generations regularly ask themselves and many are the ones who question them on this subject. So they have decided to answer them. How do they answer them? By using the existing official 2017 data from the famous BNVD (database of distributors' sales) which gives the quantities of the different commercial pesticide products sold in each department in the form of an Excel sheet of more than 700,000 lines! From these data the association has deduced the quantities of active ingredients sold in each department by grinding this information at length.
Today, thanks to this work, they offer various maps of France of the distribution of pesticide sales, presenting this information in a synthetic and visual way.
