JCDecaux launches a major national photo competition on the theme "The city ahead of us".

Qhaven't you ever dreamed of seeing your photos exhibited in the streets of France? JCDecaux offers all citizens in love with the city, whether professional photographers or simple amateurs, the exceptional opportunity to win an "urban exhibition" on advertising material from its network.
For JCDecaux, the world leader in outdoor advertising, the city is a place of high added value, engaging and surprising encounters. A vast area of expression, it opens up a world of infinite possibilities. Many photographers have taken an interest in urban space. Its architecture, its atmosphere, its inhabitants, its energy, its creativity, its night, its secrets, its diversity, its evolution?

But above all, the city permeates the trajectories of city dwellers: exceptional memories, daily moments, future projections. All their stories are played out in its decor, within its walls, with its lights, its reliefs. This street light that lit up one's first kiss, this bus shelter where an improbable meeting took place, this crossroads that symbolizes the change of direction in another's life, this square that is now blooming again. These "lieux-dits" are the theme of the photo contest. "The city before us"This is the result of the "Wipplay" photo competition organised by JCDecaux with the Wipplay photo competition specialist to encourage city-dwellers to tell about their emotional ties with their city.

Since its creation, JCDecaux has always sought to contribute to the beautification of the urban landscape by placing the design and aesthetics of its street furniture at the heart of its business model. It was therefore quite natural for us to become involved in this exceptional project, which involves both city dwellers who want to enhance their city through their photography, and the local areas that will be honoured through this rewarding and decentralised operation.

How to participate?
All your impressions are welcome, as long as your images are human and are accompanied by a narrative (between 150 and 400 signs) that will echo the photographed setting. Several channels of participation are available from March 13 to April 24, especially if you are mobile. You will discover them on the mini-site dedicated to the operation https://lavilledevantnous.jcdecaux.fr
