Renaissance Numérique launches a major consultation on the theme "Digital and a way out of the crisis" at the National Assembly, the 22 November 2012
With digital, the world is changing. Society is changing. New frontiers, new relationships, new potentials, new balances. Many of the pillars of our democratic society need to be adapted in this changing world.
In order for all citizens to benefit fully from the extraordinary potential that digital technology represents, for the digital economy to develop in harmony with the rules that govern our society, and to anticipate abuses and abuses, Renaissance Numérique, a think tank made up of researchers and business leaders who are emblematic of the Internet in France, proposes to draw the outlines of tomorrow's digital citizenship.
By raising the awareness of the State, public authorities and private players, respecting all citizens - digital users or not - and respecting individual and entrepreneurial initiative.
The industrial revolution opened up new horizons for mankind... and led to the excesses of the Third World. The digital revolution cannot carry within it the emergence of the "Net Third".
