The re-industrialization of France now appears to everyone as a necessity and globally the Languedoc-Roussillon region cannot rely on an industrial culture. However, the agri-food industries of this region, with 97% of VSEs and SMEs, are the leading industrial employer on our territory and the leading exporter.
This is why within the framework of the contract "Acting for the food industry" signed with the Region, LRIA (Languedoc-Roussillon Industries agroalimentaires) has been carrying out since 2007, in partnership with Transferts-LR, an important action to support food industry companies on the theme of industrial performance thanks to the support of Europe, the State, the Region and the Department of Pyrénées Orientales.
35 regional companies, from 10 to 250 employees, manufacturing a wide variety of products (dairy products, meat, condiments, ready meals, wine, seafood, confectionery), followed this programme, worked with the industrial performance toolbox on the optimisation of production and maintenance processes and on LEAN MANUFACTURING: the results were very quickly achieved.
These companies and their association LRIA, invite you to Friday, October 5, 2012, à the Mercure Centre de Montpellie hotelr to a conference likely to make you want to imitate them, if you are an industrialist, likely to change your perception of the professionalism of companies if you are an observer or one of their partners.
