Long live merchant generosity!

Kindness, empathy can change the world: lkindness is the only Anthon Berg chocolate award in Denmark.

Here is a nice idea of Danish commercial generosity and moreover hyper modern (digital, ephemeral, pop up ..beautiful ! ) ! For the chocolate brand Anthon Berg, everyday life should be like a box of chocolates: very generous!

Convinced "that there is not enough and that we are increasingly in need of generosity in everyday life, the Anthon Berg brand opened, in March 2012 and for a single day, at Easter, an ephemeral, self-proclaimed "generous" store: GENEROUS STORE. Indeed, the boxes of chocolate sold were not sold in return for money... but in return for a promise of an act of kindness. The price of the chocolates was converted into an act of promise of kindness.

Among the thirty or so "good resolutions" proposed: not saying bad things about your spouse for a month, serving him breakfast in bed for a week, helping a relative clean his house, etc. To make sure that the commitment would not be taken lightly to get the sweets and then not kept, the brand offered self-service iPads with an application that made it easy to send the promise directly via Facebook to the friend or relative concerned.

With this traceability of promises organised, everyone could get the chocolatey counterpart of their promise... Since then, photos of couples, friends and families "warmed by their deeds" have been pouring in as the promises were actually fulfilled!
