On the occasion of the release of the book "FutuRIS 2013 - Research and Innovation in France". Editions Odile Jacob, the National Association for Research and Technology organised a half-day conference on Thursday 19 December 2013 in Paris to provide food for thought on the National Research Strategy (SNR) enshrined in the law of 22 July 2013 on higher education and research.
After a presentation of the key messages of the FutuRIS 2013 book by Jacques Lesourne, Chairman of the FutuRIS steering committee, the debates on SNR were organized around two main questions:
