The association of Symbolic Psychoanalysis and Réel éditions co-edit the first booklet "L'âme des femmes", the masculine in the feminine psyche.
Gathered in a research and writing collective, five symbolic women psychoanalysts explore the presence of the masculine in the female psyche, carried by the unconscious figure of the Animus: Sophie Delavis-Setton, Mireille Ibanez, Françoise Navard, Nadine Pignatel and Agnès Vincent.
Through accounts of personal and concrete experiences and theorical chapters, they highlight its importance for the expression and realization of women.
They challenge C.G.Jung's theories on the Animus and the past-ist views that irrigate the literature on this subject following the "master". Here they freely testify to their psychic experiences and their relationship with this unconscious male soul.
Several themes are addressed: women and their creativity, the woman's body, the ordeal of fatherlessness, women's expression and that of the mother, women and violence, women between archaism and modernity.
A book whose form makes a large part of the illustrations and graphics and which offers a whole accessible to any curious mind.
So that's the work of five women on the question of our male part, (until then we heard a lot with Jung about the female part of the men).
A bit of theory (around Jungian concepts) a lot of involvement, introspection, dream analysis. It's experience, sensitivity, intimacy. The least of things since it is our soul.
