The association fiXience offers students a creativity contest: come and present your projects around the theme
"Transhumanism in the face of the social question" on Saturday, November 22, 2014.
On the occasion of TransVision 2014, the first conference dedicated to transhumanism in France, fiXience, the AFT and the Espace des Sciences Pierre-Gilles de Gennes of ESPCI ParisTech propose to build a project around issues related to transhumanism and to present it on 22 November 2014.
The projects will have to be creative and raise questions about transhumanism. Two prizes will be awarded: a public prize and a jury prize.
You will have to concretize and illustrate the theme of the conference: "Transhumanism facing the social question".
Beyond the questions that arise around the human body, the aspect pointed out concerns the social balance, in particular via the evolution of lifestyles and uses.
Similarly, the issue of equal access to modifying technologies can be explored. Your creations will raise the debate around these ideas.
You are free to shape your work (video, theatre, performance, plastic work...) which will be presented and exhibited in a dedicated area of the ESPGG.
