From morning to night, we are confronted with algorithms. But this exposure is not without danger. Their influence on our political opinions, our moods or our choices is proven. Far from being neutral, algorithms make the value judgements of their developers, and subject us to them.

How to propose an article?

Each proposed text is read collectively by the editorial committee, which reserves the right to check the information and to publish it. UP' Magazine takes particular care in the editing of the texts; the editorial committee and secretariat may be led to ask for additions, to propose rewordings or clarifications. The title, the chapeau of the article as well as the headings are written by the editorial staff. The main illustration is defined by UP'.

The proposed articles present an original reflection on a question that sheds light on the current situation. The contents must be informed and scrupulously checked; the sources should preferably be identified by links. They are intended for a non-specialist audience, avoiding overly technical developments, and not being confined to specialist debates.

The desired length of the articles ranges from 5000 to 15000 characters.

Each new author provides a brief biographical note and a photograph.
