Météo de l'éco": MEDEF launches the first application bringing together key economic indicators.
The "Météo de l'éco" application provides an accurate view of the situation of the French economy and its companies, based on 30 automatically updated indicators. Above all, it is an innovative tool that makes it possible to compare the evolution of these economic and social indicators over the last 15 years in relation to other major European countries.
This free application is intended for business leaders, decision-makers, professors, students, journalists and citizens so that they can, at any time, have up-to-date and contextualized information on the fundamentals of our economy.
The ambition is to democratize knowledge and understanding of our globalized economy. Pedagogical quizzes are used to test and improve everyone's knowledge.
The app contains 30 indicators grouped under five headings: activity; employment and unemployment; education and training; business conditions and public finances. All the most striking indicators that are driving the national debate are present: debt, unemployment rate, mark-up rate, educational ranking in the Pisa survey, etc. For each data item, France is compared with the euro zone, Germany, the United Kingdom, Italy and Spain over fifteen years. A meteorological picto (sun, clouds) is added to summarise the situation in France.
An Internet site - www.meteodeleco.fr - allows this application to be used on all digital media and is available on the AppStore and Google play.
The Medef called upon a French startup (Toucan Toco) to create this application.
