Paris and New York exchange startups

Start
Paris and New York are implementing their exchange program for 18 start-ups: Anne Hidalgo, Mayor of Paris, and Bill de Blasio, Mayor of New York, launched an exchange program between Parisian and New York startups last October. Ten Parisian and eight New York startups will leave in a few days to develop their projects in the partner city. Let's broaden our horizons!

Paris and New York, world cities among the leaders in innovation, joined forces last October in an unprecedented partnership specially designed for their startups. Organized by Paris&Co and NYCEDC, the economic development and innovation agencies of the City of Paris and the City of New York, the competition selected eight New York startups and ten Parisian startups. Air France, a partner in this exchange, marks its commitment to the startups and provides support by offering them transport to their host city. This program will enable them to set up in the partner city, benefiting from personalized support, in order to develop their activities in new markets.

These companies will be able to take advantage of free travel arrangements between Paris>New York and New York>Paris, six months' free accommodation for their company in an incubator in the host city, assistance with accommodation and administrative procedures, and a support system to help them get in touch with investors, business leaders and potential customers.
"This unprecedented exchange between two metropolises, which are keen to develop innovative projects in their respective areas, further strengthens the ties that unite New York and Paris, Jean-Louis Missika, Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of attractiveness and economic development, is delighted.

The 18 winning startups work in fields as varied as digital, gastronomy, fashion, design, social and solidarity economy, arts, green technologies and innovation in tourism.
"This program is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to test a new market and build a professional network under the best conditions", underlines Karine Bidart, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Paris&Co.
