Positive Planet - Towards a Positive Revolution : 20 citizen solutions to change the world, Edited by Jacques Attali

Edition Fayard, November 2018 - 224 Pages

Chis book is the result of a novel approach that aims to make the voice of all audible, and particularly that of the younger generations, who are calling for a "positive revolution". To this end, 50,000 citizens from all over the world responded to a consultation.
Under the aegis of Positive Planet, intellectuals, trade unions, companies and experts have extracted the substantial marrow from it: the economy must be oriented to serve future generations, the concern for the preservation of the environment must prevail and the will to improve the living conditions of all must be affirmed.
These ambitious guidelines take the form of twenty concrete proposals with the horizon and the means for their implementation. Vulnerability tests to counter the consequences of climate change, financing universal health coverage, strengthening the International Labour Organization, establishing an ethical charter for artificial intelligence at the service of all... All are possible and hold the promise of a sustainable and united world.

Polytechnicien, enarch, former special advisor to the President of the Republic for eleven years, creator and first president of the EBRD, president of Planet Finance, Jacques Attali has shone as an author in many different genres. He recently published with success with Fayard Tous ruinés dans dix ans ?, Phares. 24 destinins and Diderot ou le bonheur de penser.
