For its 10th anniversary, ETNA launches Co-Labs, its collaborative creation platform. This digital space is a real meeting and exchange place, and its purpose is to encourage contact, the creation and dissemination of innovative ideas between the students of the school, the project leaders and the professional world..
Code Camp boosts Co-Labs' momentum
The Code camp by ETNA is a gathering of students from the school on a specific technical subject often sponsored by a company. Adapting it to its peer-to-peer pedagogy for Prep'ETNA seemed obvious to Samir Rinaz, ETNA's Executive Director. "The work carried out during the Code camp sessions and during the 100 end-of-study projects had to be part of a long-term dynamic, visible to all. It is to give meaning to these achievements and create new development opportunities that ETNA created Co-Labs".

This online platform will also be a unique showcase to showcase students' skills. The opportunity for them to be noticed by professionals and to show their added value on concrete projects.
ETNA and companies: 10 years of mutual attraction
In 2004, the ETNA was created for students with two years of higher education with a desire to transform the habits of the classic sandwich course. The new work-study program advocated by ETNA is intended to be closer to the corporate lifestyle (online courses for greater flexibility, etc.).
Ten years later, the challenge has been met with more than a thousand students trained by an effective pedagogy in connection with companies. Capgemini, Alcatel-Lucent, Groupon and Sogeti maintain special relationships with the school, particularly by hiring students during their work-study period.
By 2014, 100% of them had found a job even before leaving school. This figure can be explained by the level of competence and adaptability of the students, who are offered a permanent contract during their work-study period by the same employer. This closeness to companies, the keen understanding of their needs and the students' aversion to creation gave birth to ETNA Co-Labs.
The Prep'ETNA reverses the codes: "I pay, I study, I work" becomes "I study, I work, I participate".
With this innovative spirit and this new relationship to work-study programs, ETNA will become a five-year school in September 2013 with the opening of Prep'ETNA. 100 students have entered free of charge after the baccalaureate this training based on a responsible and innovative model that offers its beneficiaries a moral commitment to the sustainability of the system by contributing to tuition fees only from the 3rd year, during the work-study program.

The training of the last 3 years is paid for by the company and the student is compensated, within the framework of an internship agreement, a professional contract, a fixed-term or permanent contract.
