Nestlé, owner of more than 2 000 brands that produce 1.7 million tonnes of plastic per year, is opening a new packaging research institute in Lausanne, Switzerland. The Group thus wishes to strengthen its commitment to sustainable packaging. The company states that it will use the new facilities to develop new packaging solutions.
