Cell Led, revolutionary carpet

Start

Lama Concept proposes a new revolutionary concept: a carpet with integrated Leds called Cell Led.

Manufactured with a revolutionary process, without a loom, it is composed entirely of randomly assembled strips of wool, like a cellular structure, producing patterns with infinite combinations.

CELL carpet is not produced in the traditional way: no weaving machines, knitting machines or technical tufts are used. It consists of strips of 100% wool felt which, after being pressed, are cut into strips and assembled randomly. Wool felt is a natural product, acoustic insulation and water repellent, and therefore breathes. It is a very strong and durable material that is often used in the construction and tertiary sectors. It can vary in colour from one order to another and the Leds, whose colour and number can also vary according to the shape and colour of the carpet, are integrated into the material.

The carpet with integrated LEDs was presented at the Paris Air Show in the Airbus A350 BusinessClass. The LEDs were mounted in the aisles to guide the visitors' path.
