Help, my life is going digital! The script is already written... from Xavier Perret (Author), Guy Jacquemelle (Author) - Edited by Xavier Wargnier - Editions Kawa September 2016 - 348 Pages
ÊTo be surrounded by robots at home and in the office, to move around in an autonomous car, to benefit from preventive and predictive medicine, to live in a world where coins and banknotes will have disappeared, to have personal digital assistants "boosted" with artificial intelligence that will anticipate our demands... And for companies, to reinvent their mode of production and the relationship with their customers, to create ultra-connected "intelligent" factories that will rely on the Internet of Things; and confront new barbarians who risk breaking their business models and disintermediating them.
The "digitalization of the world" will revolutionize our lives and force companies to completely rethink the way they work and organize themselves. In this book, many sectors of activity are analysed (health, education, industry, banking, automobile, sport, insurance, etc.) and the impacts for the economic world and governments, but also for our customers, employees and citizens.
Through a dozen reference films (including Metropolis, Bienvenue à Gattaca, Rollerball, Soleil Vert, eXistenZ ...) we will see how talented screenwriters and directors have already imagined what is happening to us.
Au secours, ma vie se digitalisée! provides concrete examples to address the key issues related to this revolution: the new markets it will create and the dangers it leaves hanging. This book offers you keys to understanding this new world, taking advantage of these new opportunities and anticipating this revolution from which we will not be able to escape.
