The Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundation launches their call for projects "Feeding the Future" 2020. Like the previous one, this call for projects is aimed at structures based in France, of general interest and eligible for sponsorship.
Our food, from seed to compost, is at the crossroads of multiple (dis)balances, nutritional, socio-economic and ecological. Beyond the solutions that have already been tried and tested, the Daniel & Nina Carasso Foundation is looking for projects that create knowledge, services or products that are avant-garde, risky, unhoped-for, even unthought-of, to enable universal access to healthy food that respects people and ecosystems.
The Foundation is looking for innovations on emerging subjects such as big data, artificial intelligence, taking into account hidden costs, collaborative logistics, etc., but also any new avenue that takes into account the different dimensions of sustainable food (environment, health, social, economic, cultural).
They call for projects with a strong grounding (from prototyping to action research) in the seed phase, benefiting from a solid conceptual base and requiring field testing to prove their concept.
The call for projects "Feeding the Future" 2020 is open until March 31. If you wish to submit a project, you are invited to read the terms and conditions on their website, section Call for Proposals and in particular its Framing Note.
This call is addressed to non-profit organizations based in France.
Accompanying the bold and daring in Sustainable Food
Created in 2010, as a tribute to Daniel Carasso, founder of Danone, and his wife Nina, the Foundation operates in France and Spain. It reveals, supports, accompanies and connects women and men who dare to look at and build the world differently in the fields of Sustainable Food and Citizen Art.
On the theme of Sustainable Food, the Foundation is currently supporting more than 180 projects that promote more sustainable practices, from seeds to compost, to enable universal access to healthy food that respects people and ecosystems. The Daniel and Nina Carasso Foundation is a family foundation, under the aegis of the Fondation de France. It is independent of any commercial company.
