A On the occasion of Microsoft Business Forward, a customer event highlighting the digital transformation of companies thanks to data, artificial intelligence and business applications, which is being held on 21 February in Issy les Moulineaux, Microsoft is proud to announce that its Campus in France has been chosen to host a Development Centre dedicated to Artificial Intelligence. Through the provision of Business Applications and the Power Platform from Microsoft, the Center provides easily accessible AI solutions and tools for customers and partners worldwide. Thus, France is more than ever asserting itself as a nation of Artificial Intelligence and represents, in this context, a key market for Microsoft.

France, land of AI for Microsoft

In line with its strategy to democratize Artificial Intelligence at the global level, in the service of companies and organizations, Microsoft has chosen the Microsoft Engineering Center, created in 2011 on the Microsoft France Campus in Issy-les-Moulineaux, to host new projects for the creation of intelligent applications.
The mission of this Centre is to support companies worldwide in their digital transformation and in their quest for increased efficiency and productivity through AI. They will be able to benefit from AI solutions that meet their business needs through the use of the Dynamics 365 or Azure platforms.
"Whereas until now the challenge for companies was to collect and process data, today the main challenge is to enable our clients' teams to easily exploit the huge amount of data they have at their disposal.says Jamel Gafsi. Our goal is to provide the products and AI solutions that enable our customers to automate their processes and improve the performance of their business.

Talents from here and elsewhere at the service of French and international companies

The Development Centre is staffed by more than 100 engineers from 20 different countries, with in-depth skills in software engineering, mathematics and product design. A majority of these experts come from the best French schools and universities such as Polytechnique, ParisTech, Ensimag and Ecole Centrale to name but a few, as well as from the best international universities such as EPFL Lausanne, MIT or Stanford. Some of them already present at Microsoft have participated in advanced training cycles on these IA subjects.
