Oxygen in bar

Start

We already had the wine, beer, water, and even nail, eyelash,... And Paris is full of bars all as original as they are strange. So here come the bars... with oxygen! A concept that has already flourished in the United States since the 90s, in Japan and Australia for more than ten years and that is starting to flow into France. A concept that is meant to "to contribute to well-being, revitalizing the body while helping to counteract the harmful effects of modern-day stress.". Vast program .

A big breath of air

Come on, let's go for a breath of fresh air! But in these bars, you don't drink, you inhale: oxygen scented with essential oils at a purity level of at least 93%. Concentrated oxygen is associated with aromas or essential oils to promote the well-being of the user. Thus, the consumer enjoys a double benefit: he benefits from oxygen therapy and aromatherapy at the same time. A fifteen-minute session in an oxygen bar would bring the benefits of a day in the mountains. The body's defences would thus be increased and would be more effective in their fight against viruses, bacteria and other winter illnesses.

No mask or anaesthetist's tank; here, you breathe in oxygen with a flexible helmet connected to a stylishly designed generator. The device that gently purrs extracts the O2 from the ambient air by separating it from the nitrogen and then passes it through bubblers filled with scented essential oils. Using a single-use cannula or an inhaler helmet, you breathe in and out for a period of 5, 10 or 15 minutes - the time it takes to "re-oxygenate"!
The benefits of oxygen help to avoid fatigue and stress, give a feeling of well-being and relaxation throughout the evening. In combination with essential oils, the sensations are multiple: Relaxing for chamomile - vanilla, Purifying for rosemary - mint or Refreshing, Energizing or Sensual for other aromas. The choice is yours ...

Oxygen and its virtues

Regenerating", "revitalizing" and even "euphoric"... Concentrated oxygen would have only beneficial virtues to believe its followers. The concept of oxygen bar would be inspired by oxygen therapy, which is a method that aims to bring, in an artificial way, oxygen to a patient. This in order to restore or maintain a normal level of oxygen in the patient's blood, a fuel that allows the release of energy held by nutrients, through cellular respiration.

Oxygen supports the "vital metabolism" process that sustains human life. The human body needs a certain level of oxygen to convert the carbohydrates, fats and proteins in our diet into energy and for survival. This process is known as "metabolism". Oxygen is an essential element in the breathing processes of most living cells. One of the functions of oxygen is a better oxygenation of the lungs which promotes the elimination of toxins from the system. The more oxygen we have, the more energy will be produced.

The air we breathe is often decried because it is highly concentrated in pollution. It is therefore increasingly poor in oxygen and our body is affected by a deficit in this matter (10,000 years ago the oxygen level in the ambient air was 30% compared to 21% today). This is precisely what oxygen bars are designed to fight against.

The air we breathe through oxygen bars is air with a high concentration of oxygen (50%). Sessions vary from 15 to 30 minutes. Oxygen breathed under these conditions does not entail any risk, quite the contrary. Oxygen and aromatherapy create a state of well-being and bring potential benefits to people's health.

A fun and marketing concept

A trend that lends itself particularly well to evening events, but also reinforces the attractiveness of certain health care establishments, such as beauty salons that offer a dozen small homemade "cocktails" to help you recover from stress or fatigue: lavender, tangerine and ylang-ylang for relaxation; ginger, peppermint and organic lemon to recover after a sleepless night; grapefruit, tangerine and fir in case of a cold... A service offered to customers when they get a manicure or a blow dry.

There are also portable oxygen bars (Homoxybar, « R », Bar 0²...) and even individual and portable. Now you know what you have to do in case of a small stroke of the helm
