First of all, it is a book that retraces 107 stories of the creation of French companies. 107 stories of passions and intuition, 107 ways of approaching professional life and of giving substance to one's dreams. Whether you are a high school student faced with your choice of direction, a graduate student at the dawn of your first job or already in the world of work, in the midst of thinking about changing direction, Destination 107 is the source of inspiration that everyone has been waiting for. Then, it's the story of a family, a woman, taking on the prevailing defeatism and wanting to give back the pride of enterprise to young people. Giving them the desire to believe in their dreams...
His son Leopold asked him one day: "What's your dream, Mommy?" Clémentine Joléo had just changed her life, her identity, her home,... and it will be: "to change the future of young people in our country and not in 107 years". That's it, "Destination 107" is here and a few months later, alive and well with more than 3,000 copies sold since its release in early December 2012.
"Destination 107": an innovative way to tell 107 stories of business creation
"Destination 107", half comic book, half magazine, is a book with a rather luxurious look: large format, square spine, and a little wink to Hergé for its cover illustration. Is it a coincidence when we gradually discover Clémentine: wouldn't she be the Tintin entrepreneurs with his fearlessness, his courage, his pugnacity?! The book was therefore produced in partnership with 107 business leaders who were mobilized around this project. Heads of family businesses, VSEs, SMEs and large groups, young or century-old companies, they reveal their experiences by sharing their anecdotes, ambitions, successes and some of their manufacturing "secrets" with us.
The objective? To open up new perspectives, to help young people see their future more clearly and to give them confidence. This book aims to question young people about their projects and tell them: "Dream, dare, make it happen... They did it; why not you? "The main idea of the book is to make people want to want to.
The second objective of "Destination 107" is to remind young people that their future will be what they make of it and that the range of possibilities is immense. It doesn't matter what your dream is, being an employee or running your own business, the important thing is to believe in it, because what is done with passion and heart is always better...". Destination 107" has the ambition to help make a positive difference. How can we do this? By valuing each other's passion and leading the reader to conclude that it can really be exploited in a future professional life.
We plunge into 107 stories of French business creation, through exclusive surveys presented in 107 double pages of the book. Young people will be able to find answers to simple questions: How do you go about setting up a business? Can anyone do it? Are there any rules that cannot be ignored to make a success of your project? Is a business project reserved for an elite?
"Destination 107" is supported by the French Ministry of Education, Medef, Croissance Plus, Fondation Croissance responsable, 100,000 entrepreneurs, MOOVJEE, Le Club des entrepreneurs, Femmes 3000, etc...
The "Bila Bila" adventure
Clémentine Joléo, journalist (ex TF1, Prisma Presse), mother of three children, explains why she embarked on the adventure: " I'm in my fourth profession, the one I loved the most is that of journalist because we have a vocation to "open it up"... and here, for once, I felt like opening it up to help things move forward for the youngest, because above all, I'm a mother... a mother who worries about the future of young people. And if nobody helps them, how are we going to convince them to move forward? Have you seen the anxiety-provoking messages we're getting from all sides? Can you imagine the impact on them?
With this book, I wanted above all to titillate the vocations of each one, to become a true source of inspiration for all and to highlight that passions could improve daily life... and of course also to present business creation as an alternative to what we are used to presenting to young people... but it is not only a book that advocates entrepreneurship, far from it, it is a book that gives you a real boost, that's all: reading positively, that's the concept of Bila Bila! »
Why did you set up your own publishing house?
"It was explained to me several times that making a book for the whole family was impossible, that young people and teenagers in particular were not interested in anything... I wanted to check it out for myself and you know what? It's astonishing, "Destination 107" is the proof that it's all so wrong! »
To talk about entrepreneurship you have to be an entrepreneur! With this conviction in mind, Clémentine Joléo decided to create her own publishing house, Les éditions du Bila Bila, with select associates: Joséphine and Léopold her children, who celebrated their 15th birthday on the day of the book's release.
272 pages, more than 1107 photos, a mystery guest, anecdotes, advice... A book full of good humor to put urgently in all hands because it was made with the heart.
"Destination 107" is sold exclusively on the website. www.bilabila.fr
