Psychology of bullshit

Eternal, without borders, without limits, ... that's bullshit. A world without assholes is possible! Actually, it's not. Sorry.

But that doesn't stop you from thinking about it. Everyone knows what bullshit is: we all put up with it every day. It's a burden. And yet psychologists, specialists in human behaviour, have never tried to define it.

To understand it better in order to fight it better, that is the objective of this book, even if we are defeated in advance. Shrinks from all over the world, but also philosophers, sociologists and writers, give us here their vision of human bullshit.

This is a world first. And maybe a last one, enjoy it!

 

Bullshit, everyone sees, hears, reads, every day without exception. Simultaneously, everyone does, thinks, ruminates and says bullshit. We're all occasional jerks, who fuck up in passing without it being too consequential. The trick is to be aware of it and to regret it, since error is human and an admitted fault is half forgiven. You are always someone's fool, but too rarely your own fool ... Apart from this little daily humming of bullshit, we must unfortunately count with the roars of competitive fools, fools in majesty, capital letters. These jerks, whether you meet them at work or in the family, are nothing anecdotal. They dismay and martyr you with their stubbornness in filthy stupidity and unjustified arrogance. They persist, sign and would gladly strike out your opinion, your emotions, your dignity with the stroke of a pen. They pollute your morale and challenge you to believe in any justice in this world. In them, even with great indulgence, you refuse to recognize your fellow men.

Bullshit is a broken promise, a promise of intelligence and trust betrayed by the fool, a traitor to humanity.
