Energy transition: €13.5 million raised thanks to new solidarity investors

Start
By the end of 2016, the Énergie Partagée citizen initiative was already celebrating 12 million euros collected for nearly 30 successfully funded projects throughout France. Today, while the presidential election candidates are still sorely lacking ambitious solutions for the country's energy future, citizens are showing their voice and continuing to invest every day to finance the transition to a local and ecological energy production system.

Building investment capacity through institutional investors

Et they are not alone: after having placed its trust in Énergie Partagée by contributing one million euros in 2016, the Natixis solidarity investment fund, managed by the Mirova company, is once again investing 500,000 euros in employee savings to serve these citizen renewable energy projects.
This new contribution further strengthens the credibility of Energie Partagée and makes it possible to support and see the emergence of new projects, while continuing on its path towards a stated objective of 25 million euros collected in 2020.

Broaden the target group of savers by forging links with solidarity finance players

To ensure that it meets this ambitious objective, Énergie Partagée is diversifying its actions: a partnership with the solidarity investment platform 1001Pact.com has thus made it possible to spread this innovative savings solution to new circles of savers.
Many solidarity investors have thus invested during the Énergie Partagée's campaign on 1001Pact.com Web site, the ideal platform for solidarity capital investment in innovative and responsible projects.

Financing renewable energy projects that are moving in the right direction

For their part, the projects financed by the citizen shareholders of Energie Partagée continue to grow and emerge from the ground. This is evidenced by these three projects that have been closely monitored for a long time and are now starting to produce their own energy. In turn, they are beginning to make a profit, while supplying renewable energy to more and more French households.

The Champs Chagnots wind farm in the Vienne (86)
The La Chapelle Montreuil wind farm, financed by Énergie Partagée and SERGIES, is now in operation and will be officially inaugurated at the end of September 2017.

HydroRaon hydroelectric power station in the Vosges (88)
Finally! Work on the hydroelectric power station is now complete. The facility produced its first kWh injected into the grid in April 2017, and an inauguration will also be held soon.

The Survoltés d'Aubais photovoltaic park (30)
With its 1,000 solar panels, the electricity from this park initiated by a group of citizens will cover the consumption of 150 families in Aubais (excluding heating). This production will be sold to Enercoop, the only cooperative supplier of 100% renewable electricity in France. Production is expected to begin in autumn 2017. See France 3's report:
