The Education and Digital authoring platform was launched in May 2013! An association with a citizen vocation: an author platform for teachers, free (open source) and free of charge. Nothing innovative underneath, you might say?! Well yes, it's the product itself that is original: everyone can become an author through an web catalogue...subject by subject.
Education & Numérique is an association under the law of 1901 composed of professionals in school publishing, digital publishing and the Internet.
They are accompanied by volunteer teachers from the National Education Department, who work closely with the designers to ensure that the authoring environment is complete and easy to use, and that student activities are adapted to their needs.
It offers author teachers an innovative and easy-to-use digital tool for creating content for students.
Teachers know the curricula and their pitfalls, examination papers, recurrent difficulties of students and effective teaching methods. They know how to recognize when a necessary concept is not acquired, how to find ways to re-explain it and how to choose appropriate exercises. They are the best "authors" of these methods that work.
Some have a website, a blog, where they publish their resources and share their know-how.
But they often struggle to find simple and ergonomic tools adapted to their needs, to broadcast their content on a computer, tablet or smartphone, in compliance with standards.
Education & Digital has understood this. So here is its author platform: A free and open space, but also ergonomic and easy to use.
