CEA in the Top 100 global innovation players

For the eighth consecutive year, the CEA has been ranked among the top 100 global players in innovation thanks to its proactive intellectual property policy. It is the only French research organization to appear in the Clarivate 2018 ranking.

Lhe Clarivate Top 100 takes into account all companies and research organizations that have filed at least 100 patents in the last five years.

Innovation actors are analysed according to four criteria: the number of patents, patent success rate (defined with regard to the patent grant rate by the offices), their international scope (filing at the American, Japanese, European and Chinese offices) and their influence (number of times an original patent is cited in other patent applications).

The contents must be informed and scrupulously checked; the sources should preferably be identified by links. They are intended for a non-specialist audience, avoiding overly technical developments, and not being confined to specialist debates.

The desired length of the articles ranges from 5000 to 15000 characters.

Each new author provides a brief biographical note and a photograph.
