Treez: Jewelry that plants trees for the future!

Start

Treez, a French company founded in 2012 by Alexis Kryceve, has set itself the objective of acting in favour of reforestation. And in doing so, to preserve biodiversity, ecosystems, water resources, but also human activities related to Nature. This strong will was first materialized by the creation of eco-designed wooden bracelets sold to finance the planting of trees in various reforestation and agroforestry projects around the world.
Today, to go even further, Treez is launching a collection of "Sowers of Hope" jewellery from next October. A name rich in meaning, a promise for the future. But also, and above all, designer fashion accessories, very feminine, which stick to current trends.

It's not enough to have nice values and a major green and ethical project to do nice things. That was the challenge in developing the "Sowers of Hope" project: to make a collection that is as meaningful as it is beautiful to wear, and that is likely to appeal to all generations and all origins.
Much more than a fashion accessory, " Semeuses d'espoir " will be a concept jewel: "The project was born from the desire to bring a great symbolic dimension to an original and contemporary, though timeless, creation. After our colourful and playful bracelets, we wanted to enter more strongly into the world of fashion and meet the expectations of today's women through a piece of jewellery designed for them. The diversity of shapes and colours is an evocation of the plurality of the world's women, who are however all linked by a common awareness of future generations. The pieces of this pendant are also connected by a discreet, almost imperceptible chain. Finally, true to Treez's primary vocation, this jewel-concept plants trees for the future, like all our creations. » Alexis Kryceve

Forging a bond between women

In imagining and developing this upcoming jewelry collection, Treez wanted to pay tribute to the women who play a role in a reforestation, agroforestry and ecosystem restoration project, and to promote their work and courage.
Indeed, by planting trees in plots around the world, women are working day after day to empower their families, communities, villages, territories and children.
"Sowers of Hope" is a beautiful symbol of an invisible link between the women of the world: those who choose to wear an original piece of jewellery and those who, thanks to the purchase of the latter, will see their daily investment celebrated and supported.

The pendant will be a necklace made of a stack of geometric pieces of solid wood, each one evocative of a country where one or more emblematic women are working on tree planting in a community reforestation project.
Each piece of wood will make it possible to finance the planting of a tree in one of the reforestation projects of the range, and to financially support the "Sower of Hope" in the project in which she is involved.

At the beginning: a base made up of a wooden base + a first wooden piece representing a planted tree.
And then... : the look of the pendant changes with the addition of wooden pieces, each representing a tree planted in one of the six reforestation projects in the range.

The pieces will have a front with an engraved motif evocative of the reforestation project being promoted. On the reverse side, a flat of pastel, chic and modern tones will bring a colourful touch and a calming effect to the abundance of motifs.

Sowers of hope Treez

All over the world, women are planting trees. They are tirelessly planting young seedlings that will form the basis of a harmonious, humane and reconciled society in the future.

"Women contribute generously to the economy and make up a large proportion of the world's agricultural labour force. If given the same resources as men, they can do much more.
FAO estimates that if women farmers (43% of the agricultural labour force in developing countries) had the same access to agricultural resources as men, production on farms owned by women in developing countries could increase by 20 to 30%, which could reduce the number of hungry people in the world by 100 to 150 million. «  (Source: http://www. unwomen.org/en/news/ stories/2012/10/the- role-of-women-in-rural- development-food-production-and-poverty- eradication#sthash.
